Force Tek Sonic
Sonic Motor Works utilize only the highest-quality components throughout their cars. The chassis are jig-welded using 1.25 x .095 4130 chromoly. Jig-welding allows our cars to be built to exacting tolerances. The front arms are built from 1.125 chromoly tubing. We TIG weld all suspension components and moving parts.
Some of the components we utilize at Force Tek include Fox reservoir shocks, Porsche 930 CV's, PRP seats and belts, Douglas Wheels, Extreme tires, Gear One steering and drive components, Stilleto R & P, the lowest mileage 180 HP Suzuki Hayabusa engines available, Stainless Steel braided lines, and Jamar Pedals, to mention just a few.
Force Tek use a Sure-Grip rear end, which eliminates the use of a noisy chain tensioner. Our all-new CAD solid works designed rear carrier slides and locks into place using a custom screw jack and a custom slide tray, easy to adjust with a simple turn of a 3/4 wrench. Once optimal tension is achieved, the unit is locked in and cannot move. This provides a much quieter ride and a longer-lasting chain, as well as convenience and reliability- no chain tensioner means no chain tensioner parts to replace.
Our cars are modeled on rough-and-tumble sprint cars, which means that a Force Tek goes from a tough dune buggy to a high-performance sports car with a simple tire change. Our cars are built tough to withstand the desert elements with race-ready Gorilla combo front spindles.

Motors are brand new Suzuki and have the loswest mileage. They come from the fastest 2006-2007 production street super bikes. The motors have a six speed manual transmission. Gauges are fully digital with rev limiter, oil, water temp, tachometer, and a true and accurate speedometer. Furthermore, we use an in-wheel Grant LED gear position indicator, showing gears 1-6 and reverse.
The chassis is jig welded using 1.25 x .095 chrome molly 4130 tubing. The front a-arms, rear trailing arms and spindles are TIG welded. Shocks are custom valved by Fox and Race Runner to our specs, to ensure a superior ride.
Seating comes from Premier Racing Products. We use Hi-Back extra wide pro racing seats, available in many custom color choices.
We use full size rack and pinion with custom billet zero bump steer bracket. Foot controls are from Jmar Racing. Ron Davis racing radiators will keep you new car looking cool as running cool. We use Gear One billet quick release steering with Sweet Mfg. u-joints.
The rear drive unit has been designed in Solid Works 2006 CAD-to ensure strong, reliable operation. This easily adjustable unit uses no chain tensioner, witch means no chain noise or excessive wear. It accepts a 530 O ring good to 500 hp by Sidewinder Racing. 4130 FK rod ends are used to connect the moving parts to the chassis.
